Baby Shower Gift Bag & Card by Nana Susan

Be ready to dazzle at your next baby shower with this sweet 2 piece set designed by Nana Susan.  (Susan is one of our designers.  She has designed several popular KITS including "Party On", "Natural Beauty", "Once Upon a Time", "Built to Play" and many others.)

She used a large white gift bag from Michael's, and wrapped a strip of pink and white Stampin' Up ribbon around top and bottom of patterned paper strip from Basic Gray's Lemonade line. She then cut 2 blue border strips and used a Martha Stewart punch to get the cute lacey effect on each, before attaching all of these pieces to the bag.

Susan tied a pink and ivory nosegay with ivory net and punched a coordinating tag, then tied both onto the bag's handle. Mini glue dots were used to attach the colored buttons to the bottom of the bag.

The card itself is 10 x 6 1/2, folded into 5 x 6 1/2, the magenta mat is 4 3/4 x 6 1/4, floral patterned mat is 4 3/8 x 4 3/8, and the green lower mat is 4 3/8 x 1 1/2. This green piece is also textured with the Cuttlebug. Stampin' Up yellow and white ribbon is wrapped around the magenta/floral/green mats, and a faux knot is tied in the front.

Sweet Pea is cut from New Arrival at 1" - both in yellow and magenta. The magenta is off-set under the yellow to give a nice shadow effect. The baby in the pea pod is also from New Arrival, and is cut at about 3", inked and attached with pop-dots. Rhinestones were added to each corner of the floral patterned mat, and Diamond Stickles were added in little accent dots to the floral mat.
