Hellooooo???  (((Helloooo?)))  (((Helloooo?))) Is there anyone in here?  Or is this an old, abandoned cave now? I hope there's no bears hibernating and waiting for an easy meal. I'll tip toe very quietly. Shhhhh.

I think the coast is clear. I'm going to write in hieroglyphics on the cave wall so that future generations will know I was here in 2020, the year the world almost ended. But before it almost ended, I made a really fun Snoopy layout in a last ditch attempt to bring joy to a downtrodden world.

If you are still alive out there, and if you still have electricity and working craft supplies, this one is for you. It's my first ever DIGITAL kit!!  Yup, you'll get a zip file with a bunch of separate svg files and one pdf file with directions and color photos. Then you just cut everything with your own machine and put it together. I even designed it with solid color cardstock so it's easy to reproduce. It's only $7, and before you ask, nope, I'm not making any actual kits - not even for my own mother. So go buy the file for your Silhouette or Cricut (newish model that uses Design Studio software), and have one last hurrah before the end of the world. Link to Etsy file is HERE.

Hello friends!  Just a quick post to let you all know that I have designed 3 brand new layout kits for a fundraiser to help send my daughter (and possibly help a couple of her friends go) to New York City with her high school choir to sing at the Lincoln Center.  I am only making about 50 of each kit, and they are already nearly half sold, so I'd recommend not waiting long if you want any of these.  Also, these will be different from my previous kits because there will be NO Cricut cuts to make!!!  All of the pieces will be pre-cut for you, so you just get to do the fun part and put it together.  Kits are $30 each. Shipping is available in the US.  You may purchase kits with shipping on my Etsy site HERE.  Or for local pickup, you can just send me an email to moniquegriffith@yahoo.com telling me what you want, and then once I receive payment, I'll put you on the list.  Kits should be ready before the end of 2019, but I'm aiming for ASAP.

October Greetings, Ghouls!!!  I'm checking in to give you all a brief update and to let you know of a FUNdraiser I'm doing.

As you know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I'm now a 5 year Survivor of Inflammatory Breast Cancer, which is seriously miraculous!!  I'm happy, healthy, and enjoying life, and so very thankful for that!  IBC is the most deadly form of breast cancer, and has only a 40% survival rate, yet many people don't even know about it.  Please learn the signs here on the IBC Network Foundation site, and be aware!!

So, the other day, I went on a Google search, hunting for an image of Snoopy (my favorite!!) holding a pink ribbon.  I could find nothing even close, so I got to work designing it myself.  I made a shirt for myself, and one for Emily and my Mom.  And then it occurred to me that maybe I could do some good with this design.  So I ordered a bunch more blank t-shirts, and also made some decals, and I'll be donating $2 from each item sold to IBC research (though my friend Terry Arnold, who founded the IBC Network Foundation, and is a Survivor herself, as well as a fantastic advocate and speaker for us!).  You can purchase the t-shirts and decals on my Etsy Store HERE.  You'll get something cute, show your support, and be contributing to research all at the same time!!

In other news - on a more personal front, here's what I've been upto.  For the past 2 years, I have been taking TaeKwonDo with Emily, who is now 11.  We are both blue belts now, and have learned SO much!  I love seeing Emily enjoy a sport and excel at it.  And it's been a dream of mine for many years to earn my black belt.  We should both be testing for black belt in exactly 1 year.  So I'm really stepping up my fitness routine, and have added weight lifting, and will be really focusing on my running as well.  I plan to be VERY ready!!  I also enjoy being a stay-at-home-mom to Em, and helping her with homework and school stuff each night.  For her recent birthday, I agreed to re-do her room from pastel little princess look to a bright turquoise ocean theme.  I'm even painting an ocean mural on a 14 foot long wall in her room.  It may take me a while longer to finish, but it's coming along nicely.

I sure hope you all are doing well.  Be healthy and go get your mammograms!!!!!

Just a quick update to let you know that I am no longer using the shopping cart on my blog, so if you'd like to order directions, just visit my Etsy store HERE.  I love using Etsy because I can easily put some direction sets on sale for you.  For instance, I just "featured" 4 of my favorite Halloween and Fall projects, and marked them at $3 for a limited time.  Sweet!

On a personal note, I am doing well - still healthy and cancer free!! Woohoo!!  I am still scrapbooking for personal fun, but have ventured into custom t-shirt production as a little side gig.  In fact, I am now in the process of making over 400 shirts for my daughter's school.  Whoa!  So I will be pretty tied up for a while now.

Hugs to all of you.  I always love hearing from you!!

It's that time of year again. Ghosts and goblins, vampires and witches, tombstones and skeletons decorating our front lawns. I grew up not exactly going all out for Halloween, so I understand that not all of us celebrate the spooky side of this holiday. But now I'm making up for lost time, and having so much fun decorating the front of my house and getting ready for those trick-or-treaters. My neighborhood is SUCH a blast at Halloween, and I love taking my daughter around to see all of the elaborate set-ups and get too much candy. What are your Halloween traditions?
So here's my newest layout for you. Directions are available on my Cricut Kits page OR my new Etsy Store! This layout was inspired by the "Creepy" side of this spooky holiday, and I pictured wandering through a graveyard on a dark, foggy Halloween night. This is not where I would want to get lost, that's for sure! Lead me back to the candy, please!
I do hope you all have had a chance to check out my Etsy store. I just started it last month, and it's really easy to use. Plus, I can easily change prices on some sets of directions to put some on sale for you. So at the very top, there's this new "Creepy" layout, but I'm also featuring a few other Halloween projects which I've marked down for a short time. So check it out! And I went through my nearly 70 projects and marked down some of the simpler, beginner level projects as well. I think you guys will like the Etsy store, as it's really easy to see everything. Let me know what you think!
As you likely know by now, my directions are very thorough and include my Cricut Cut Chart which shows you exactly what you need to cut on your Expression machine, with all of the settings for each cut. Plus they're grouped by color so it's very efficient. There's also well-organized written instructions and plenty of color photographs. In addition, I'm starting to include more detailed paper information for you, and have also added a new Key# column on my 2 most recent direction sets so that you can find the correct key on your keypad overlay more quickly. I'm always trying to improve how I do things, so I hope that helps! Directions are $5, but don't forget that there are some at a reduced price right now!
To complete this project as shown, you'll need the following supplies: Cricut Expression®, Happy Hauntings cart, black chalk ink, 3D pop dots, silver or white gel pen, black pen, Diamond Stickles, 4 silver brads, orange and purple rhinestones, plus basic tools and adhesive.
Have a fun and safe Halloween with your little monsters!

Hi friends!  Just a quick announcement to let you all know that I have opened my store on Etsy - hooray!!!  And for a short time, I have featured 4 of my favorite projects at the very top of the store at $3, which is 40% off!  Plus, there are 64 others to browse through as well.  If you do ever use my Etsy store, I'd LOVE it if you can leave feedback so that others can get a sense of the quality.  Oh, and I did list a few of the older, super simple projects at $2 just because they're geared more toward beginners.  If you have any input for me or ideas on how to make my store better, please leave a comment here (I'll have to click to approve comments).  I'm just learning about this Etsy thing, so I can use all the help I can get.  Thanks, everyone!!
