We're finally feeling that crisp, cool air out here in Northern California. Ahhh, there is no better time of year with all of my favorite holidays right around the corner!
So here are 5 fun and fabulous Wild Cards and envelopes to kick of the holiday season. This class will be held Wednesday, October 14th here at my home in Rocklin. Class fee is $25, which includes all materials and detailed, yet easy to follow directions. Kits are also available for $25, and shipping depends on location, but generally ranges from $6 to $9 in the US.
To create this project, you'll need the Wild Card cartridge and an Expression machine - plus some basic tools and Stickles. You won't believe how much fun you can have with this cart. It's a little tricky to figure out at times (but hey, that's what you have me for, LOL!), though once you get the hang of it, you can make amazing cards very quickly, and then dress them up to your heart's content!

Mmmmmm. It's almost candy season - I mean Halloween! Here are some fun little treat boxes and a sweet card for a few of your favorite special spooksters. These will actually work really well even for your adult friends and co-workers, as they have somewhat of a sophisticated flair to them. But don't worry - the kids will love them too.
This Cricut class will be held Wednesday, October 7th here at my home in Rocklin. Class is $25, which includes materials and wickedly detailed directions with Cricut Cut Chart (candy not included unless you show up to the class and say "trick-or-treat", hehe!). Kits are also available for $25 + shipping, and will be shipped out on October 8th. You'll need the Expression machine plus the Tags, Bags, Boxes and more cart as well as Stretch Your Imagination. Cuttlebug and spiderweb embossing folder are also recommended, but optional.

This chart shows you line by line exactly what you'll need to cut with your bug, including color of paper, size, feature key, object you're cutting, page # in booklet, blade and pressure. Plus assembly instructions and color photographs.

Here's a creepy cute layout perfect for your little trick-or-treaters. This was made with the original Paper Dolls Dress Up cartridge plus the Hello Kitty Font for the title (though any font will do). This class is coming right up in just a few weeks - Thursday, October 1st at 6pm here at my home in Rocklin. Kits are also available, and I'm happy to ship. You know what they say - cold hands, warm heart. Not so sure about the cold hands part, but I do know that my heart is warmed when I think of winter and all of the memories that go along with it. Ice skating, building snowmen, and sitting by the fireplace drinking hot chocolate (gotta have the marshmallows!).

So in honor of my favorite season, here's my newest class project. This class will be held here at my home in Rocklin on Wednesday, November 4th at 6pm. Yes, it's a long way off, but I just couldn't help myself. My favorite cartridge - A Child's Year - was just begging to be used. And that's the only cartridge used here - it's amazingly versatile! Alrighty, so you might need more details rather than me gushing about this cart. The class fee is $25, which includes all materials and easy to follow directions. I also include a Cricut Cut Chart, which shows you line by line exactly what you need to cut with your bug - including color of paper, size, feature buttons, object, page # in booklet, blade and pressure. Plus all cuts are grouped by color to make it even more efficient for you. There will also be color photographs included with the directions. If you can't make it to the class, or if you just haven't convinced your husband to move out to Northern California yet, you can certainly order a kit. And I must tell you that these brand new papers are gorgeous!! You can 't tell from the photos, but the large snowflakes are flocked, and some of the papers have a soft metalic shimmer to them. Very yummy! To complete this project, you'll need your Cricut (any model will do), A Child's Year cartridge, brown or tan chalk ink, a Crop-a-dile or other hole punch, pop dots, a white gel pen and of course your basic tools.

Well, back to the real world and warm temperatures! But maybe I'll get to dream of falling snow and yummy gingerbread houses tonight. :) What are a few of your favorite winter memories???
