Happy Holidays and a Very Merry Christmas to all of my scrappy friends! Don't you just love this time of year? I hope you're all able to take some time out from the busyness of it all to really just stop and ENJOY the season, and to appreciate what it is that makes it so special. For me, that means my faith in God and my wonderful family and friends. And the hot cocoa, warm jammies, the cozy fireplace and Christmas lights don't hurt either!

Alrighty, here's a couple of brand spankin' new kits just perfect for this magical season. See below for details. To order, just email me at moniquegriffith@yahoo.com and include your state or zip code, and preferred payment method (PayPal or check).

This wintery whimsical "Snow Much Fun" kit was designed by Bling Queen Wendy Lawrence. And btw, she's a Guest Designer today (Saturday) for Everyday Cricut, so be sure to check it out! This bright and playful layout is perfect for any of your winter pictures. It's so cute, you might have to plan a snow trip just to take pictures for it! Included in this kit, you'll receive all of the patterned papers, cardstock, and ribbon that you need to make the layout. You'll also get detailed, yet easy to follow directions with a Cricut Cut Chart that shows you line by line exactly what you need to cut on your Cricut. There's also well-organized written instructions and plenty of color photographs to help you out.

To complete this project as shown, you'll need the following supplies: Cricut Expression and mat, Winter Frolic cart, Accent Essentials cart (or any cart with snowflakes), brown chalk ink, 3D pop dots, white gel pen, Diamond Stickles, plus basic tools and adhesive.

This complete kit is $25, or you can order just the directions for $10. Shipping is available, and is $5 in California or ranges from $6-$9 in the rest of the US depending on location. I'm happy to combine shipping, and you'll never pay more than $10 for shipping, even if ordering multiple kits. There are several other kits currently in stock - just see the slide show and list at the top of the blog. These new kits will be available for local pick-up on December 12th, and will ship out December 13th.

Below is the new "Happy Christmas" kit, which was designed by Nana Susan Rees. Believe me, this rich Victorian look is her specialty! There are so many details here, including textured velvet ribbon, Cuttlebug embossing, red rhinestones and gold ink accents. It's perfect for those Christmas morning pictures, or any Christmas family gathering.

Included with this kit, you'll receive all of the beautiful patterned papers and solid cardstock, plus the stunning ribbons, button and red rhinestones. You'll also get the full directions with Cricut Cut Chart, written instructions and color photos.

To complete this project as shown, you'll need the following supplies: Cricut Expression and mat, Christmas/Noel solutions cartridge, Cuttlebug with various embossing folders of your choice (optional), brown chalk ink, tan chalk ink, white chalk ink, 3D pop dots, glue dots, white gel pen, gold gel pen, brown fine-tipped marker, Diamond Stickles, plus basic tools and adhesive.

As with the "Snow Much Fun" kit, this "Happy Christmas" kit is $25 for the complete kit or $10 for the directions. The kit is available December 12th, and will ship on December 13th. If you previously ordered the "I Believe" kit or the "Live Simply" kit, these will all be ready at the same time, so it's easy to combine shipping and save some money.

To order either of these new kits, just email me at moniquegriffith@yahoo.com. Be sure to include your state or zip code so I can calculate postage. Also let me know if you prefer that I send you a PayPal invoice, or if you'd rather mail a check.

Btw, just a little note about the future of this blog, classes, etc. My design team and I are planning on ramping up the blog very soon with more consistent posts. We'll show new projects, new tools and techniques, a video here and there and even regular give aways. So stay tuned for more info. Plus for you locals, we are planning on starting up classes again in February when we return from CHA. There's even talk of more consistent crop nights and retreats. It should be a fun and busy year!!

Thanks for stopping by my blog today, and I wish you a warm and magical Christmas!

Hi Everyone! Well, it's been a couple of months, but I'm back at it, and today is my Saturday as Guest Designer for Everyday Cricut. Since I haven't scrapped in a while, I decided to go for pure fun on this layout, so it's got lots of little details - and lots of work into it. And sorry to say, but I am not turning this into a kit. And you can't talk me into it - the paper is retired! So y'all are on your own for scraplifting. I used the Thanksgiving seasonal cartridge, and you can see below for into on sizes.

Alrighty, so the paper is from last year's Stampin' Up catalog, so I'm pretty sure it's retired, and I have no idea what the name of it is. How's that for being helpful? The solid cardstock is also Stampin' Up, the twine is basic stuff that you can buy pretty much anywhere, and the little cirle hardware is from Tim Holtz.

Here are the sizes I cut on my Cricut...
Pilgrim Man - 5"
Pilgrim Lady - 5"
Turkey - 3 1/2"
Pumpkin Pie - 2 1/2"
Roasted Turkey - 2 1/2"
Corn - 2 1/2"
Pumpkin - 1 3/4"
Journal box - 3"
Happy Thanksgiving title - 3"
Maple Leaves (use Real Dial Size) - 1 1/4" and 1 1/2"

I did use my Cuttlebug to emboss a few little things - the Pilgrim Lady's apron and collar, the Corn, Pumpkin and Roasted Turkey. I also used dark brown chalk ink to pretty much all of my Cricut cuts and the photo mats.

I'm even going to give you the photo mat sizes for those in scraplift mode...
Dark Yellow: 1 - 4 1/2 x 6 1/2, and 1 - 4 1/2 x 4 1/2
Dark Orange: 1 - 4 1/2 x 6 1/2, and 1 - 4 1/2 x 4 1/2
Chocolate Chip: 2 - 4 1/4 x 6 1/4, and 2 - 4 1/4 x 4 1/4
Leaf pattern: 2 - 3 7/8 x 5 7/8, and 2 - 3 7/8 x 3 7/8
I also added torn corner accents of the stripe pattern.

The journal box sizes are...
Chocolate Chip: 4 3/4 x 2 1/2
Ivory/brown patterned paper: 4 3/8 x 2 1/4

You probably also noticed that there are larger mats that help make up the background. Those sizes are...

Left Page
Woodgrain pattern: 1- 10 3/4 x 3 1/2, and 1 - 10 3/4 x 6 1/2
Chocolate Chip: 1 - 11 x 3 3/4, and 1 - 11 x 6 3/4

Right Page
Woodgrain pattern: 10 3/4 x 10 3/4
Chocolate Chip: 11 x 11

Finally, I added the twine to a few photo mats, and tied on the cute Tim Holtz hardware. I also punched tiny holes and added some antique copper brads to the photo mats. To add the faux stitching, I used a Gold Signo Uniball gel pen. I also used 3D pop dots to attach many of the cuts to the pages.

Thanks for stopping by today. Be sure to visit Everyday Cricut too as they have some incredible ideas, and are constantly giving away some awesome goodies. On a more personal note, I want to thank you all for the support and prayers as I have been working through my recent pink journey. I had surgery 2 weeks ago, and will have radiation starting in a couple of weeks. If you'd like to follow my journey, you can read my almost daily ramblings HERE. I have much to be thankful for!

Guess what! It's the second Saturday of the month again, and that means it's my turn to design for Everyday Cricut. Be sure to stop over there if you haven't already. They've always got incredible ideas and amazing giveaways! And if you're visiting from Everyday Cricut, welcome to my blog, and thanks for stopping by!

I didn't have much time to create this layout. It took me 4 hours, which is super fast for me. I used the most gorgeous papers I've ever seen, and it allowed me to make the rest of it pretty simple. The papers were actually given to me by the designer, Sally Griswold, who is a friend of mine and is from Iron Orchid Designs, which is designing for Creative Imaginations. Thanks, Sally!! The background papers are die-cut and have actual red stitching all over them, and they're just mind-blowing. You should really see this whole line. It's some of my favorite paper and embellishments ever!!! And btw, this will NOT be a kit, so you're on your own. You may be able to purchase some of the papers and embellishments from Scrapbook.com HERE. Just plug in a search for "Creative Imaginations Loolah". Or you can always use google and shop around.

All of the cuts for this layout are from the Cricut Lite "Live Simply" cartridge. What a cute cartridge this is, and very easy to use! All cuts were inked with black chalk ink. Cricut cut sizes are as follows...
Skunk is 3 1/2"
Live Simply title is 3 1/4"
Lady Bug on left page is 3"
Lady Bug on right page is 2 1/2"
Journal box is 3 1/4"

Mat sizes are as follows...
Square mats: Red is 4 3/4 x 4 3/4, Black is 4 1/2 x 4 1/2, Flowered is 4 1/4 x 4 1/4.
Rectangular mats: Red is 4 3/4 x 7 1/2 including scalloped punch bottom, Black is 4 1/2 x 6 1/2, Flowered is 4 1/4 x 6 1/4.

The fabric flowers, pearls, red rhinestones and fabulous square brads are all from the same "Loolah" line from Creative Imaginations. Gingham ribbon was from JoAnn's I believe. And the cardstock is from Couture Cardstock and Stampin' Up.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today, and don't forget to pop over to Everyday Cricut!

I wanted to show you this t-shirt I decorated with my Cricut. I started it last night at our Crop for the Cure, and finished it up tonight. I'm really happy with how it turned out, and I can't wait to wear it!

If you'd like to see my tutorial on how to decorate t-shirts with your Cricut, vinyl, and fabric paint, check it out on my blog HERE. It's super addictive.

For this shirt, the word "Fight" came from the Pink Journey cart, and was cut at 3 1/4". The ribbon was also from Pink Journey and is 2". The "like a" font is from Hannah Montana and is cut at 1 1/2", and the "GIRL" font is also Hannah Montana, cut at 2 1/2".

Thanks for stopping by, and save the ta-tas!!!

Just in case you didn't see this on Everyday Cricut on Saturday, I wanted to show off this gorgeous new layout. My best friend, Wendy Lawrence aka Bling Queen, is helping me out with my business by designing some new kits for you all. Yay, Wendy!! She is an amazing designer, and it's no surprise to me that her first kit is this awesome. To order this kit, just email me at moniquegriffith@yahoo.com. Read below for more details...

What's great about this layout is that it's 100% versatile. It'll work for pictures of anybody - kids, adults, boys, girls, you name it. What's so scary about this kit is that it's VERY limited in numbers. She's only making 24 kits. Last time I made that few, you all wiped me out in a matter of a couple of days. So consider yourself warned - I'm sure it'll be sold out before the weekend.

Here's what's included in the kit. You'll get all of the Imaginisce patterned papers, solid cardstock, ribbon and those insanely cute candles that you need to complete the project. Plus you'll get easy to follow directions with the Cricut Cut Chart, which shows you line by line exactly what you'll need to cut on your machine with all of the settings for each cut. There are also well-organized written instructions and plenty of color photographs.

To complete this layout as shown, you will need the following supplies: Cricut Expression, Sweet Treats cartridge, dark brown chalk ink, white gel pen, Diamond Stickles, mini glue dots, 3D pop dots, stapler, plus basic tools and adhesive.

This complete kit is $25, or you can order just the directions for $10. Shipping is available, and is $5 in California or ranges from $6 to $9 in the rest of the US. I also have several other kits available (see slide show at the top of my blog), and am happy to combine shipping. You'll never pay over $10 shipping, even if you order several kits. These kits should be ready to ship out next week.

To order, just email me at moniquegriffith@yahoo.com and let me know your state or zip code so I can calculate postage. Also, please let me know if you'd like me to send you a PayPal invoice, or if you'd prefer to mail a check.

Thanks for stopping by. And huge thanks to Wendy for designing such a beautiful kit!!
