I just did the random drawing for the Elmo's Party cart, and the winner is.... Jenny!!!!
Jenny said...
I AM SOOOOOOOO JEALOUS!!!!!! I am CRICUT GREEN! You and Wendy both look like you had the time of your lives!!!! I am so excited that you got to ROCK IT at CHA! Have a safe trip home!
Jenny, I'll try to email you to get your shipping info. Congratulations!!! Be sure to check in tomorrow morning as well since I'll be doing the drawing for the kit. Woohoo! And here's a few more pics from CHA just for fun...
Here's Wendy and me with our favorite CEO: Jim Thornton of Provo Craft. Love this guy!!!
Here we are with the lovely Anna Griffin. She was very sweet!
Sandy, Wendy and I with Jinger. She's the spokesperson for Provo Craft that you see in all the commercials, etc. Isn't she adorable?
Wendy, Marti (pezadoodle), Sandy E from Ukiah, Terri (terrikrafts) and me hanging out with a very large shrimp outside of Bubba Gumps. Weird.
And look who we found wandering around CHA. It's our second favorite CEO, Shelly from Stampin' Up!

Oh I'm in a giddy mood and feeling generous all at the same time. So I'm doing yet another giveaway on my blog, and the winner will receive a Cricut Project kit - you can choose either the Wild About You Book which requires Animal Kingdom + a font cart (I used Mickey Font), or you can choose the Hello Kitty Card Collection, which requires the Hello Kitty Greetings cart. Just make sure you're a follower of my blog and post a comment on this post. I'll draw a winner Saturday morning around 10am pacific time. Winner has 2 weeks to claim prize, or I'll re-draw. Be sure to leave your email address or messageboard name so I can reach you if you win. (To enter the drawing for the Elmo cart, see the post below this one as it's still open til Friday morning.)
Enough of the silly video nonsense. If you missed it, TOO STINKIN' BAD FOR YOU!

We are back from CHA, and boy oh boy did we have a great time!!! My fabulous friend and assistant, Wendy Lawrence, went with me, and we got to meet so many amazing people that just blew our minds! The Calendar Girls (Melanie, Joy and Tammy) who have their blog HERE were so incredible and we have declared them our new best friends. They are seriously the most awesome ladies ever. Mad love for them!!!
We also got to meet Tim Holtz, Teresa Collins, and Jim Colby who is a VP for Provo Craft (he's in the 4th pic down with Wendy and me). Wanna hear something completely nuts? When we met Teresa Collins, she said she had heard of me. WHAT the....????? I will never get over that little moment!!!
We also met soooooo many of our fellow messageboard sisters. The last pic shows us with a few of them at the Provo Craft party on Sunday night. We had the times of our lives that night - it was crazy!!! (And a huge thanks to McKay Brown for the invite!)
Well, I had wanted to post these while we were down there, but my laptop had some issues and I was suddenly cut off from the outside world. Whoa!! So not cool. But now I'm going to offer up a little blog candy to celebrate one of the most unforgettable weekends that I have ever had. Just make sure you're a follower of my blog and leave a comment on this post. Make sure to leave your email address or your messageboard name so I can reach you. I'm giving away the brand new Elmo's Party cartridge!!!! I will do the drawing Friday morning at about 10am pacific time. Plus stay tuned for more CHA pics and more giveaways to come.

We're here in our hotel room in Anaheim. It's Wendy and I, plus Sandy from Ukiah came to hang out with us, and the 3 of us are waiting to go to CHA tomorrow. So exciting! I'm feeling creative, but didn't bring ANY scrapbooking supplies with me. Oh, but fear not. There is always a way, and here's how ya do it... (Warning: I cannot be held responsible for my behavior on this trip, and this video is likely to be removed when I've regained my senses.)
I have officially come to my senses and removed the silly video. Tough luck if you missed out. Neener, neener!

Friday is the big day! I'm picking up Wendy (she's my amazing friend and lovely assistant too), and we are hitting the road to drive down to Anaheim for the CHA convention. We'll be there for 3 days, and I'll be taking pictures to post each night here on my blog, so be sure to check in! I might even do a giveaway or two. Woohoo!!!
Hope you like the t-shirt I made. We'll be wearing these on Saturday so we can make everybody jealous, LOL!

Did you think I had retired? No way! Yeah, I know - it's been a month since I've posted something new. But I was just taking a little time off to be with the fam and enjoy the holidays. Now my brain is all refreshed and once again I have more ideas than I have time for. So here's the first one!
This whimsical "Hugs & Kisses" Valentine layout is really perfect not just for sweethearts, but for anyone you love. You could add pics of your children, your puppy dog, kitty cat, or maybe even your hubby if he has been good to you lately.
This will be taught as a class on Thursday, February 11th here at my home in Rocklin, CA. Kits will also be available to ship, and will ship out by Feb 13th. The class is $25 including materials, and kits are the same. Shipping ranges from $5 upto $10 in the US, depending on location and number of kits ordered. You can also purchase directions only for $10 (delivered via email), and they'll include my Cricut Cut Chart, written instructions and color photographs. To sign up for the class or order your complete kit or just directions, email me at moniquegriffith@yahoo.com. Be sure to let me know your zip code or state so I can determine your postage. I accept PayPal, checks or money orders.
To make this layout as shown, you will need the following tools and supplies: Cricut Expression and mat, Sweethearts cartridge, charcoal or black chalk ink, 3D pop-dots, mini glue dots, Crop-a-dile or hole punch, white gel pen, gray or black marker, red marker, plus adhesive and basic tools such as paper trimmer, scissors, etc.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you enjoy the new look of my blog, and I'll try to keep a current list of available kits up at the top. Also, I just released my Spring Cricut Class Schedule, which I'm trying to figure out how to post a link to here. But in the meantime, if you didn't get one, and would like one, just email me at moniquegriffith@yahoo.com.
Have a lovely sweet day!!!
