I hope you all are enjoying the beautiful fall weather. It's my favorite time of year as we transition from the crisp autumn air to the chilly winter nights. Time to turn on the fireplace and cozy up with some hot cocoa! And in the spirit of the changing seasons, I'd like to introduce 2 new kits to you - one for fall, and one for Christmas! See details below. To order, just email me at moniquegriffith@yahoo.com.
This beautiful fall layout was designed by the Bling Queen herself - Wendy Lawrence. It uses Bo Bunny papers, and it's perfect for a wide range of family pictures. Included in the kit, you'll receive all of the papers and ribbon, plus brad, button and itop brad needed to complete the layout. You'll also get detailed directions with Cricut Cut Chart and color photographs.
To complete this project as shown, you'll need the following supplies: Cricut Expression and mat, Accent Essentials cartridge, Graphically Speaking cartridge, Cuttlebug with Swiss Dots embossing folder, brown chalk ink, dark green chalk ink, 3D pop dots, mini glue dots, white gel pen, brown marker, plus basic tools and adhesive.
The Live Simply kit above and the I Believe kit below are $25 each for the complete kit, or you can order just the detailed directions for $10 each. Shipping is available, and is $5 in California, or it ranges from $6-$9 in the rest of the US, depending on location. I'm happy to combine shipping, and you'll never pay more than $10 shipping, even if ordering multiple kits. There are several other kits in stock - just see the slide show at the top of this blog for a list and pictures of current inventory. These new kits will be available for local pick up on December 12th, and will start shipping to other locations on December 13th.
This dreamy layout was designed by Nana Susan Rees, and isn't it reminiscent of a snowy Christmas Eve night? Yes, Santa Claus is coming to town! It uses whimsical yet rich papers from My Mind's Eye, and features many delicious details, including plenty of texture and dual pull-out journal tags.
Included with this kit, you'll receive all of the patterned papers, cardstock, coordinating brads and ribbon, and rhinestones that you'll need to complete the layout. You'll also get detailed directions with Cricut Cut Chart and color photographs.
To complete this project as shown, you'll need the following supplies: Cricut Expression and mat, Christmas Cheer cartridge, Ashlynn's Alphabet cartridge, Cuttlebug with Swiss Dots and Snowflakes folders, brown chalk ink, 3D pop dots, white gel pen, hole punch for brads, Diamond Stickles, plus basic tools and adhesive.
To order either of these new kits, just email me at moniquegriffith@yahoo.com. Be sure to include your state or zip code so I can calculate postage. Also let me know if you'd prefer that I send you a PayPal invoice, or if you'd rather mail a check. Kits will ship by December 13th.
Thanks for stopping by today. And keep your eyes peeled because I'm going to be releasing 2 more Winter/Christmas kits soon!

Hi Everyone! Well, it's been a couple of months, but I'm back at it, and today is my Saturday as Guest Designer for Everyday Cricut. Since I haven't scrapped in a while, I decided to go for pure fun on this layout, so it's got lots of little details - and lots of work into it. And sorry to say, but I am not turning this into a kit. And you can't talk me into it - the paper is retired! So y'all are on your own for scraplifting. I used the Thanksgiving seasonal cartridge, and you can see below for into on sizes.
Alrighty, so the paper is from last year's Stampin' Up catalog, so I'm pretty sure it's retired, and I have no idea what the name of it is. How's that for being helpful? The solid cardstock is also Stampin' Up, the twine is basic stuff that you can buy pretty much anywhere, and the little cirle hardware is from Tim Holtz.
Here are the sizes I cut on my Cricut...
Pilgrim Man - 5"
Pilgrim Lady - 5"
Turkey - 3 1/2"
Pumpkin Pie - 2 1/2"
Roasted Turkey - 2 1/2"
Corn - 2 1/2"
Pumpkin - 1 3/4"
Journal box - 3"
Happy Thanksgiving title - 3"
Maple Leaves (use Real Dial Size) - 1 1/4" and 1 1/2"
I did use my Cuttlebug to emboss a few little things - the Pilgrim Lady's apron and collar, the Corn, Pumpkin and Roasted Turkey. I also used dark brown chalk ink to pretty much all of my Cricut cuts and the photo mats.
I'm even going to give you the photo mat sizes for those in scraplift mode...
Dark Yellow: 1 - 4 1/2 x 6 1/2, and 1 - 4 1/2 x 4 1/2
Dark Orange: 1 - 4 1/2 x 6 1/2, and 1 - 4 1/2 x 4 1/2
Chocolate Chip: 2 - 4 1/4 x 6 1/4, and 2 - 4 1/4 x 4 1/4
Leaf pattern: 2 - 3 7/8 x 5 7/8, and 2 - 3 7/8 x 3 7/8
I also added torn corner accents of the stripe pattern.
The journal box sizes are...
Chocolate Chip: 4 3/4 x 2 1/2
Ivory/brown patterned paper: 4 3/8 x 2 1/4
You probably also noticed that there are larger mats that help make up the background. Those sizes are...
Left Page
Woodgrain pattern: 1- 10 3/4 x 3 1/2, and 1 - 10 3/4 x 6 1/2
Chocolate Chip: 1 - 11 x 3 3/4, and 1 - 11 x 6 3/4
Right Page
Woodgrain pattern: 10 3/4 x 10 3/4
Chocolate Chip: 11 x 11
Finally, I added the twine to a few photo mats, and tied on the cute Tim Holtz hardware. I also punched tiny holes and added some antique copper brads to the photo mats. To add the faux stitching, I used a Gold Signo Uniball gel pen. I also used 3D pop dots to attach many of the cuts to the pages.
Thanks for stopping by today. Be sure to visit Everyday Cricut too as they have some incredible ideas, and are constantly giving away some awesome goodies. On a more personal note, I want to thank you all for the support and prayers as I have been working through my recent pink journey. I had surgery 2 weeks ago, and will have radiation starting in a couple of weeks. If you'd like to follow my journey, you can read my almost daily ramblings HERE. I have much to be thankful for!
