The #1 highlight of the CHA trip for me was the Provo Craft Gala on Saturday night. It was a birthday party for Cricut, who turned 5 this year. Happy birthday, Bug!! Of course Wendy came as my guest, and WOW did we have some serious FUN!!! There were so many amazing people there - Heidi Swapp, Teresa Collins, Jinger Adams, Jim Thornton (PC CEO), Pink Stamper, Tammy Skinner, Terri Olsen, the list goes on and on. Wendy and I visited with several friends, but mostly hung out with Robyn & Tammy's gang for the evening. Here are a few videos and pics for you - just a small sampling of the evening...
This one features Jim Thornton, the Provo Craft CEO, who is hilarious - and several other PC employees. And the Cricut himself, or herself. Hmmmm.
The entertainment for the evening was quite the treat. They brought out dancers from Step Up 3D and So You Think You Can Dance. My hubby and I are huge SYTYCD fans, so I was really excited to see Joshua, Twitch and Comfort, and here is a dance they did. They were way too cool.
And one silly little clip that Wendy shot of us girlies hanging out, dancing and being goofy. It's mostly me and Robyn in the clip. And yes, I am well aware that faithfully watching So You Think You Can Dance does NOT make me a good dancer.
Here's me with Heidi Swapp, Rhonda Ferrar and some other chick. Somebody please remind me to go tanning next time I go to CHA.
While waiting in line to get into the party, look who found us. It's Emma Aguilar of My Creative Time and Sarah Pink Cricut!
Here's Robyn & Tammy's gang. That's Courtney in the back, and then in the front row from left to right is Meryl, Karlee, Robyn, Angela and Tammy.
Me, Robyn and Wendy. I sure am blessed to have such fabulous friends!
Wendy, Terri Olsen and me. Terri is "TerriKrafts" from Stamps Alive, and she is one of the sweetest people on the face of the planet.
Me with Joshua. He's the season 4 winner of So You Think You Can Dance. Insanely talented guy!!
Wendy with Comfort. What a cool hip hop dancer she is! I need to take lessons!
Me with Twitch. This guy is a phenomenal dancer. I mean - wow!!! And what a sweet guy. I walked up to the bar, and he was standing there with Joshua. I told them "Drinks are on me!" And Twitch said "Isn't this an open bar?" To which I replied "Yes, that's why I'm buying." He laughed and we talked for a couple of minutes. Very down to earth and cool!
After the party, I took my crew out to Flemings for Filet Mignon. We laughed and had the best time, and the steak was practically a religious experience - it was THAT good!!! Left to right, it's Angela, Becca, me, Brenda and Wendy. Oh, and our Cricut bugs from our Gala Swag Bags. Best night ever!!
Thanks for perusing our wild and crazy evening. There's more to come, so keep checking back in. And don't forget to leave a comment on each post this week for a chance to win the Bo Bunny Crush paper collection pack!!

What a great time you had. How was that when you met the SYTYCD dancers. My daughter 14 now , has been dancing for 10 years. It's a show that we can't miss, we've even see them live on Tour. She's going to love the photos. What a great experience. All the photos of all the other great designers are nice. TFS

I thoroughly enjoyed watching these videos and looking at the pictures - it made me feel as though I was right there with you having fun - thanks for sharing the experience! Looks like it was a BLAST, and I'm so jealous that you got to see the SYTYCD trio - I love that show, too, and go to the LIVE tours every time they come to town (Twitch is definitely on my 'favorites' list).
The story of how the Cricut was 'born' was hilarious - I figured the CEO of PC had to be a creative guy, but that skit was over the top FUNNY! :)
Thanks again for sharing!
