Just a quick and fun little post for tonight/Wednesday. Since this week's blog candy is the Winter Frolic cart, I thought I'd show you a little sample of what it can do. I'm in love with this cartridge!!! Here's a little layout I made at a recent crop. Nothing too fancy, but the papers and cuts are cute, so how can ya go wrong?
Patterned papers are from Imaginisce. I believe all of the cardstock, ribbon and buttons are from Stampin' Up. I was a bad girl and didn't take detailed notes, but I'm pretty sure that the characters were cut at 3 1/2". The title is about 4". Of course, I had to ink everything, add my white dots and stitching, and use pop dots.

Adorable layout Monique! The kids playing in the snow are so sweet! I love this cart too, I've used it so many times already. I used the ice skating and snow angel girls to embellish gift bags I made, they were so cute!

I do not understand how you keep coming up with such cute layouts. I live in a ski resort town in Colorado, so IF I were to win the cartridge, I would get a lot of great use out of it : )

That is adorable! I have a really hard time "guessing" at the size of my cricut cuts. Is there an easy way to determine that measurement?

Here is yet one more cartridge that I have added to my wish list. EAch day I read though my blog circle, I find not only great ideas, but also more things that I need for my crafts.
I live in NE where we get snow, and this will be a must cart when my grandaughter gets old enough to play out in the snow.

I love the snow angel kid. Beautiful layout. This is a cart that I don't have, but would love of course. We don't do snow much, but I get pics of my Sister, B-I-L and four boys from Montana. They have tons of snow and I don't know how they live!

No snow here....ever... but who knows with global warming, things might change :-) Those cute characters could certainly morph into surfers and sun bunnies with a little imagination. I just wish I had the time....and a clear space to start playing again. My poor expression still hasn't felt a surge of power...not even once.

Typically I hate winter...the daylight hours are shorter, it's cold and just grey outside for the most part (I think I suffer slightly from seasonal depression) but then I see this. I love how happy the snow makes the kids and you captured this perfectly in the layout. Thank you for sharing.

Dang it, I was really trying to resist buying this cart (it is the ONLY Christmas/Winter one I DON'T have) I was honestly trying to be good! But between this LO and the one Wendy did awhile back I may have to break down and get it. UNLESS of course I win it this week!!
